Theatre/film/television mainstay Christine Lahti returns Broadway as "Veronica" in the Yasmina Reza play God of Carnage. Lahti made her Broadway debut in 1979 in Loose Ends and has since performed in Present Laughter and The Heidi Chronicles. An Emmy-winner for her role in Chicago Hope, Lahti has also been seen in the television shows Jack & Bobby, Amerika, as well as the films Smart People, Swing Shift, and Running on Empty. An accomplished director, Lahti won an Academy Award for her short film Lieberman in Love. Lahti is married to fellow director Thomas Schlamme.
