Three of Brian Dennehy's Broadway productions--O'Neill's Desire Under the Elms and Long Day's Journey into Night and Miller's Death of a Salesman-- started out life at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, where he is a member of the ensemble's Artistic Collective. He won Tony Awards for Long Day's Journey and Salesman. His other Broadway work includes Inherit the Wind and Translations. Other Goodman credits include three more by O'Neill--Hughie, A Touch of the Poet, The Iceman Cometh--plus Brecht's Galileo. All seven of these Goodman productions were directed by Robert Falls. Dennehy's off-Broadway credits include Conversations in Tusculum, Trumbo, Peter Brooks' The Cherry Orchard, and Says I, Says He. He's also done a season at Ontario's Stratford Shakespeare Festival. His feature films include Righteous Kill, War Eagle, Welcome to Paradise, Ratatouille, Tommy Boy, Baz Luhrman's Romeo & Juliet, Presumed Innocent, Gladiator, Best Seller, The Last of the Finest, The Belly of an Architect, F/X, Cocoon, Gorky Park, First Blood, 10, Foul Play, and Semi-Tough.
