Bio:
Bebe Neuwirth began her career as a dancer in Princeton Ballet Company and gained extensive notoriety through her role on the hit television show Cheers, for which she holds an Emmy. Neuwirth's extensive film career includes roles in Summer of Sam, Jumanji, and Tadpole. Her Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theater history is also impressive with such credits as her Tony award-winning turn as Velma Kelly in the Broadway revival of Chicago, her Tony award-winning role as Nickie in Sweet Charity, and the title role in Kiss of the Spiderwoman on London's West End. In 2006 Neuwirth returned to Chicago, this time to play Roxie. In 2010 she is set to play Morticia in Andrew Lippa's The Addams Family, a Broadway musical based on characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams.
