Arliss Howard's Broadway debut is in the revival of Joe Turner's Come and Gone. His Off-Broadway shows include two Sam Shepard plays, Killer's Head at The Public and The Late Henry Moss at the Signature. Howard also replaced Shepard in the lead role in Caryl Churchill's A Number at New York Theatre Workshop. His television credits include a recurring role on Medium. His films include Full Metal Jacket, Men Don't Leave, Wilder Napalm, The Lost World, A Map of the World, Amistad, and The Time Traveler's Wife. His directing credits include Big Bad Love, in which he also appeared, and Dawn Anna. Both of these films star Howard's wife, the Oscar-nominated actor Debra Winger.?
