BIO

Alexandra Silber trained at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. While there, Silber played the title role of Electra as well as Helen of Troy in Howard Barker's The Bite of the Night. She made her premier West End performance as Laurie Fairlie in Andrew Llyod Webber's The Woman in White. Silber won the 2009 TMA Award for Best Actor in a Musical for her role as Julie Jordan in The Savoy Theatre's West End production of Carousel. She protrayed the character again in Reprise Theatre Company's revival of the musical, which garned her a Los Angeles Ovation Award nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Musical. Silber's solo cabret London Still recently premiered at Fienstein's at The Regency to critical acclaim. The role of Sophie in Master Class marks Silber's Broadway debut.
