Aaron Lazar's first nonmusical credit on Broadway is Impressionism. He starred in A Tale of Two Cities in 2008 and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for the 2006 revival of Les Misérables. He replaced Matthew Morrison as the lead in The Light in the Piazza, a role that he subsequently played in the PBS broadcast, and he was also featured in the 2002 revival of Oklahoma and the long-running Phantom of the Opera. Lazar co-starred with Reba McEntire and Brian Stokes Mitchell in the Hollywood Bowl production of South Pacific. As a soloist, he has worked with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, the Boston Pops, Marvin Hamlisch and the National Symphony Orchestra, and Peter Nero and the Philly Pops. He sang the role of Adam/Silva with the Jerusalem Philharmonic in a televised concert of the Broadway-bound musical Imagine This.
