Aaron Carter began his career at age seven singing lead for the band Dead End. Two years later he made his first solo appearance opening for the award-winning Backstreet Boys -- of which Carter's older brother Nick is a member -- at their concert in Berlin Germany, March 1997. Shortly thereafter, he signed a recording contract which led to the release of his first hit single, "Crush On You". His first full-length album Aaron Carter, released under the JIVE label, achieved gold status worldwide including countries Norway, Spain, Denmark, Canada and Germany. His next album, Aaron's Party was also released in the United States under the JIVE Label and achieved triple-platinum certification. Carter has won multiple awards over his career including TEEN Choice Awards, Kids Choice Awards, and RTL Young Artist of the Year Award. He made his Broadway debut in Seussical the Musical. In 2009, Carter appeared on the popular ABC television show Dancing with the Stars. His other television credits include Figure it Out,Lizzie McGuire, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch . He can also be seen on film in Fat Albert, Ella Enchanted and Supercross.
