BIO
Will Ferrell makes his Broadway debut this season with You're Welcome America, A Final Night with George W. Bush. The show, which played its first preview on Inauguration Day 2009, features Ferrell's impersonation of the former president, which he perfected during his Emmy-nominated, seven-year run on "Saturday Night Live." As with many "Saturday Night" alumni, Ferrell began his comedy career with the legendary Los Angeles troupe, The Groundlings. His major films include Step Brothers, Blades of Glory, Stranger Than Fiction, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Elf, and Old School. Ferrell was also featured as Nazi playwright Franz Liebkind in the film version of the Broadway musical The Producers, for which he received his first Golden Globe nomination (the second was for Stranger Than Fiction).
