Oliver Platt's Broadway credits include Guys and Dolls and Conor McPherson's 2006 play Shining City, the latter of which earned him a Tony nomination. Other New York theater credits include The Public Theater's 2002 production of Twelfth Night, Mike Nichols' premiere of Elliot Loves, the title role in Lincoln Center Theater's Ubu, and early work at the now-defunct Manhattan Punch Line Theater, which Platt considers his big break. He has been Emmy-nominated for his roles in the TV series "Huff," "The West Wing," and "Nip/Tuck," the latter of which he appeared in with his Guys and Dolls co-star Craig Bierko. And he received a SAG Award nomination for playing George Steinbrenner in the miniseries "The Bronx Is Burning." Films include the upcoming 2012 and The Year One, as well as Frost/Nixon, Kinsey (both of which featured his Guys and Dolls co-star Kate Jennings Grant), Casanova, The Ice Harvest, Pieces of April, Bulworth, Indecent Proposal, Flatliners, Working Girl, and Married to the Mob.
