Nathaniel Stampley, currently appearing as "Mufasa" in The Lion King, is an actor who has performed regionally, in national tours, on West End, and Broadway. He recently appeared on Broadway in The Color Purple and in the national tours for Ragtime and The Lion King (he also appeared in the West End production). He has performed regionally in Strike Up the Band and Show Boat. Stampley received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for his performance in Big River.
