Bio:
Mary-Louise Parker is an acclaimed theatre/film/television actress. A Tony-winner for her performance in Proof, she has also appeared on Broadway in Reckless, Prelude to a Kiss, and Bus Stop. Also known for her roles in the films Fried Green Tomatoes, Red Dragon with Edward Norton, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford with Brad Pitt, and The Spiderwick Chronicles, she has appeared in the television show The West Wing and as the leading role of a marijuana-dealing soccer mom in Showtime's hit show Weeds. In 2003, she starred in the HBO mini-series of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Angels in America directed by Mike Nichols and co-starring Meryl Streep and Al Pacino. In 2005, Boston University honored her with exhibition of her career featuring donated memorabilia to their university library.
