BIO

Linda Lavin is well known to television audiences for playing the title role in CBS's long-running sitcom Alice. Her other television work includes Barney Miller, Touched By an Angel, and The O.C.. Lavin's Broadway credits include Collected Stories, Hollywood Arms, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife The Diary of Anne Frank, and the original production of Neil Simon's Broadway Bound for which she won a Tony Award for Best Actress. She recently won a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding featured Actress in a Play for her performance in Paul Rudnick's The New Century at the Lincoln Center.
