Jayne Houdyshell was last seen in the acclaimed Broadway revival of The Importance of Being Earnest. She is perhaps best known for her work in critically acclaimed show Well. The Off-Broadway production earned the actress an OBIE Award and a Theater World Award. Houdyshell took the role to Broadway in 2006 and received a Tony nomination for her efforts. Other recognitions include a Joseph Jefferson Award in 2006 for her work in The Pain and The Itch at Steppenwolf Theater and a Barrymore Award (also in 2006) for her work in The Clean House at The Wilma Theater in Philadelphia. Her television credits include Law & Order, Conviction and Third Watch. Film credits include Garden State, Changing Lanes and Trust Me.
