Born in Woburn, Massachusetts, Eric Bogosian is a five-time Drama Desk-nominated actor/writer, winning in 1986 for his one-person show, Drinking in America. His solo performances, which also include Men Inside, Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, and Wake Up and Smell The Coffee, earned him three Obie Awards. In addition, he has penned numerous full-length plays including subUrbia, Griller, and Red Angel. His 1988 Pulitzer Prize nominated play Talk Radio was produced on Broadway (a debut for Bogosian) in 2007 starring Liev Schreiber. As an actor, Bogosian has appeared in the films The Caine Mutiny Court Martial, Ararat, and Under Siege II: Dark Territory. He is well known to television audiences as Captain Danny Ross on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. A Graduate of Oberlin College, Bogosian is the author of two novels, Mall and Wasted Beauty. He is married to director Jo Bonney.
