Bio:
Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet is a playwright, screenwriter, producer, and director who has worked extensively on film, television, and the stage. In addition to Glengarry Glen Ross, for which Mamet won the Pulitzer Prize, he has written Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated plays such as The Cryptogram, Oleanna, and Speed-the-Plow. In addition, he has written the screenplay for films including The Untouchables, Wag the Dog, and Hannibal. His film directing credits include Oleanna, Heist, and Redbelt. He is the creator and executive producer of the CBS television series The Unit. Mamet's plays Oleanna and Race come to Broadway in late 2009 with Mamet himself directing Race.
