Daniel Jenkins is the son of Ken Jenkins, who is perhaps best known for his role as Dr. Bob Kelso on Scrubs, and Katharine Houghton, who played the role of Joanna "Joey" Drayton in the 1967 film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. He is also the great-nephew of legendary actress Katharine Hepburn. A seasoned stage and screen actor, Daniel received a Tony nomination for his performance as Huck in Big River, a role he originated. He went on to play Mark Twain/Voice of Huck in the Deaf West/Roundabout production of Big River, which was followed by a tour of the US and Japan. Other Broadway credits include Prior in Angels in America and Josh in Big, a role which earned him a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Musical.
