Bio:
Christine Baranski was born in Buffalo, New York. A graduate of The Julliard School, she is married to actor Matthew Cowles. She made her Broadway debut in Hide and Seek. Baranski went on to appear in The Real Thing for which she won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play. She won again in 1989 for Neil Simon's Rumors. She is well known to television audiences for her years as Maryann Thorpe on Cybill. Baranski recently appeared as Tanya in the film version of Mamma Mia with Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep.
