BIO

Andrea Martin is most widely known as an Emmy-winning original cast member of the show SCTV, which launched her Hollywood career along with Martin Short, John Candy, and others. She's a former member of Toronto's Second City and, in 1972, was part of the legendary Canadian cast of the musical Godspell that also featured Short, Victor Garber, Gilda Radner, and Eugene Levy. Martin's Broadway credits include Exit the King and Fiddler on the Roof, Tony nominations for Young Frankenstein, Oklahoma, and Candide, and a Tony Award for My Favorite Year. She also performed an acclaimed one-woman show called Nude, Nude, Totally Nude. Other off-Broadway productions include The Exonerated, The Vagina Monologues, Out of This World at Encores!, and The Merry Wives of Windsor at The Public Theater. She has appeared in the films The Producers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Wag the Dog, and Boris and Natasha. Martin also has dozens of voiceover credits, ranging from Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius to The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley.
