About This Venue
Conn Artist Performance Event, (C.A.P.E.) Inc. which presents the Provincetown Fringe Festival began in 1994. It has produced more than 200 productions ranging from plays, music, performance art, puppetry, children's theatre, staged readings, stand-up comedy, and workshops and it has produced many world premiers.

In 1999, C.A.P.E. Inc. was recognized by The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force for contributions to Gay & Lesbian theatre in Provincetown along with Tony Kushner and Ryan Landry.

C.A.P.E. Inc. was formed when Conn could not find a theatre company to produce, LORENA HICKOK & ELEANOR ROOSEVELT: A LOVE STORY by Pat Bond. This play has now become the longest running play in Provincetown since 1994 and has toured all over the county.

The goal behind C.A.P.E. Inc. is to give everyone a chance in theatre. Nobody is turned away. New actors, playwrights, directors, etc. are encouraged to participate.

So if you are out there and reading this and want to be a part of extraordinary theatrical experiences, the theater is only a phone call away and you will not be turned away. This is the "YES" theatre.
