Synopsis

A classic, timeless work of theatre, Paul Zindel's 1971 Pulitzer Prize winner, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marilgolds tells the story of the acerbic and tormented Beatrice Hunsdorfer, a woman who wreaks vengeance everyone around her, though she is as much a victim of her own nature as those who depend on her. Yet, as her daughter Tillie's experiment proves, something beautiful and full of promise can emerge from even the most barren afflicted soil.
