WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
23 Feet in 12 Hours is a one-woman tour-de-force that follows six real-life New Orleans characters whose lives were irrevocably changed by Hurricane Katrina. The raw and poignant stories that comprise this gripping documentary theater piece are based on over 60 interviews, which author Mari Brown and actress Deanna Pacelli conducted with Katrina survivors and New Orleans transplants between 2006 and 2010.
