Tom Judson to Star in Canned Ham at Provincetown’s Art House

Writer/performer Tom Judson will star in his new musical comedy Canned Ham for a summer-long run at Provincetown’s Art House Theater, June 6-September 6. Kevin Malony will direct.
The solo show recounts Judson’s true life adventures from Off-Off Broadway composer to appearing on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning revival of Cabaret to becoming, of all things, porn superstar Gus Mattox — winner of the GayVN “Performer of the Year” Award, the adult film industry’s equivalent of the Oscar. The piece includes anecdotes about such figures as Rob Marshall, Teri Hatcher, Ann Magnuson, and others.
The piece features costuming by William Ivey Long. It is produced by David Drake Productions, TWEED TheaterWorks, and Kearns Artist Services.
