The Cape Cod Theatre Project has announced the directors who will stage the first two works that will be presented as part of its previously announced 2010 season, to run July 8-31.

Mark Brokaw will direct the company’s season opener, Daria Polatin’s Guidance (July 8-10), in which a new high school guidance counselor gets caught up in the lives of his students.

The theater’s second offering will be helmed by Carey Perloff: a staged reading of Nilo Cruz’s The Color of Desire (July 15-17), which centers on an American businessman who hires a young Cuban actress to play the role of a woman he once loved.

The balance of the summer will include the previously reported second year senior (July 22-24), by Neil LaBute, directed by Andrew McCarthy; and Mike Daisey’s newest show The Agony And The Ecstasy Of Steve Jobs (July 29-31), which will be directed by Jean-Michelle Gregory.
