Confined to her home in India, 16-year-old Tina, a paraplegic, draws patterns on the ground with rice flour as she awaits an arranged marriage to a man she has never met. But when her cousin Tommy arrives on a visit from Canada, the two form a bond and open each other's eyes to a wider world - with life-changing consequences.
