Memorable show

Wicked is definitely a memorable show that everyone should see at least once. The story focuses on the relationship that grows between Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West. The music is amazing and the songs are memorable -- they will make you laugh and cry. After the ending of the first act your jaw will drop to the floor. When it is over you will want to see it again. This show definitely lives up to the hype and is a definite must see.

My FAVORITE show!

My all time FAVORITE show EVER! I want to be Elphaba! Its my life goal!

Love this show!

If you come to NYC, you have to see Wicked! Outstanding music, story, and performances! It doesnt get much better than this!

Could have been fantastic, but only remained good.

To be honest, I had a high expectations for wicked, since it has such a great reputation as a great show that has been able to have such a long run. I mean, in the visual aspect, it was great. I was enchanted by the beautiful set, stage, wardrobe and lights and etc. The ensembles were full of energy and passion and the lead singers seemed to be fairly talented actresses and singers. And because I have already known the numbers before even I saw the actual show, I already knew that numbers are great. HOWEVER, NEVERTHELESS, this show, which could have been FANTASTICALLY GREAT that could have gotten every audiences standing applause, despite of all those good attributes, just stayed pretty good but not very worth the expensive payment. Why? BECAUSE OF THE TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY!! OH MY GOSH!! seriously, I wanted to punch whoever the person managed the volume of the sounds. I could barely concentrate or be into those beautiful songs and even the storyline because of the ridiculously low volume which barely allowed me to even understand what words the actors were saying! it was SO WIERD because the lower notes sounded beautiful and fairly hearable, but whenever the singers were hitting high notes, which are SUPPOSED TO BE loud enough to electrify the audiences hearts, were forcefully muted by the horrible technician instead that I personally think totally ruined the show. And even when the actors were saying their lines, it was very hard to understand what they exactly they were saying which caused no laughter at the moments that were SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY. only few people laughed.i could tell the actors must have been pretty disconcert Its pretty absurd because I was sitting in the middle orchestra seat which was one of the bestest spot. I cant even imagine how irritated the people in the back of the mezzaine row must have been. If only the volume of the sound was good, I would have clapped until my palms get ripped very willingly standing on my two feet at the end of the show. BUT, because of one people with terrible sense of hearing, or managing the sounds I should say? the show got much poorer response from the audience than it originally deserves. Whoever the person does the volumes, HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED! and gotta solve this problem! Becuase according to what I saw, No, hear, was not very satisfying.

The Best show on Broadway!

Wicked is absolutely amazing! It contains everything that makes a great show. It depicts a friendship that travels from hatred through love and finally end in respect. It is a friendship that might be about any two friend?be it two women, two men or between a woman and man. I will recommend this show to anyone who loves a great story. One last note, when you see and hear Dyfing Gravity you will understand how special a show this is!!!

Best show out there

Ive seen this show twice now, and it gave me chills each time. I cannot wait to see it again. The songs, the storyline, the actors etc were all incredible. Great for women, men and children.

AMAZING

Saw this and absolutely loved it. Would definitely see it again.

CleverLyrics

I am a huge fan of Stephen Schwartz. The cleverness of his lyrics is unique, and you can tell his work even without knowing he wrote the lyrics - as in "Enchanted." The archness and wit of Wickeds lyrics will creep up on you upon repeated listening, and youll marvel at the way he spins words to amuse! I love this show... Ive seen it 4x, and my daughter cant seem to get enough of it either. Even in its later years, it still feels fresh and new.

Wicked

loved it!!!

Best Musical on any Broadway Street or Avenue...

Best musical on Broadway! I was singing Defying Gravity for days.... This should have been Tony winner for Best Musical; not even close.

Wicked

Excellent! Superb! Loved the show! A must see for all theater lovers. The music the acting all is executed to perfection.

WickedTASTIC!

Its AMAZING!

Breathtaking!

LOVED THIS SHOW!! Left the show singing and dancing and feeling great! Such a touching story! Nothing like the book...but so much better! I have seen it twice on broadway and once on tour in Philly. Broadway was best...but both were amazing! Go see it...again and again! This has tied for my favorite show of all time!

Ok show.

I find the show great for the eye but thats it. Worth the money for the costume of course, the cost of the costume is 2.5 millions $ and for the set. But for the music and the lyrics, I didnt have any song in my head when I left. "Wicked" est un spectacle formidable pour les yeux, sans plus. Je suis sorti ? la fin du spectacle et javais d?j? oubli? le spectacle.

Wicked Review

I dont see that many shows but Wicked seemed to be one of the better shows. Easy to follow and great costumes. My only negative comment about the show was the the way show ended. I thought the show was building toward a tremendous ending and I was let down. The ending of the frist act was the type of finale I was looking for.

This show has it all!

Great story...it draws on your knowledge of "The Wizard of Oz" and challenges your suppostions. Hard hitting social commentary in a surreal environment. Excellent book and music. Performances are top notch. You will laugh, cry and have an outstanding time!

not worth the hype!

everyone raves about this show but I just didnt see what all the fuss is about. It is mediocre at best. I expected to be "wow"ed and definately wasnt. I was disappointed that I paid full price for these tickets. Maybe worth seeing if there is a discount which there never is! My friend and I agreed that it was OK and our daughters 12agreed - just OK. We wouldnt tell anyone to rush to see it! Sorry.

RE:Wicked

I really enjoyed this show and it made me look at The Wizard of Oz in a different light, but I dont think its quite worth the hype that it gets.
