WHAT ARE CRITICS SAYING?

To paraphrase one of this season's revered playwrights, Mark Twain, the death of the star vehicle has been greatly exaggerated. Amidst the extraordinary ensemble vehicles of Tracy Letts, Conor McPherson, Harold Pinter, and Tom Stoppard, comes November, the crowd-pleasing comedy in which David Mamet -- of all people -- has fashioned a leading role for Nathan Lane with the kind of tailoring skill rarely even seen on Savile Row.

What are other members saying?

fun, but...
If you love sitcoms and wish plays were more like sitcoms but with a lot of strong language, then see this play. It is certainly fun, and would feel a little more like classic Mamet if they hadnt cast Nathan Lane, who gives this production a slapstick feel. Youll laugh a lot, but probably wont have a lot to discuss over drinks after the show.
