Mamma Mia's sunny, funny tale unfolds on a tiny Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back 20 years later. You don't have to be a fan of the super group ABBA, who provide the 23 hit songs for Mamma Mia! to fall in love with this unforgettable show.
Seen by over 40 million people around the world, Mamma Mia!, is celebrating over 3,400 performances in its ninth smash hit year at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre and remains one of Broadway's top selling musicals. The current North American Tour has played over 3,000 performances in over 130 cities with 125 repeat visits.
The original West End production of Mamma Mia! is celebrating 10 years and over 4,000 performances in London, an international tour has visited more than 40 foreign cities, and the blockbuster feature film adaptation is the most successful movie musical of all time grossing over $600 million worldwide.

Long before there was MTV, there was Your Hit Parade, which offered the nation's hit songs in vignettes designed to place them in an amusing context. When a ditty clung onto the list for too long, the show's writers had to stretch for their set ups. On one such occasion, The Everly Brothers' teen-love song "Wake Up, Little Susie" was presented as sung by a babysitter to her sleepy charge.
Mamma Mia! is what Your Hit Parade might have been if the creators had decided that, rather than presenting a series of unrelated skits, they'd slot all the week's chart-toppers into one storyline. From that perspective, Mamma Mia! has all the rewards of a good night on Your Hit
