WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Every holiday season, audiences of all ages enjoy the uplifting story of White Christmas. Now, the Tony Award® nominated Broadway musical Irving Berlin's White Christmas has become New York's newest holiday tradition.

The musical tells the story of two showbiz buddies who put on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and find their perfect mates in the bargain. Full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, Irving Berlin's White Christmas is a merry and bright theatrical experience for the entire family.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas made its celebrated Broadway debut at the Marquis Theatre last season following acclaimed productions around the country. This year's Broadway cast is led by James Clow, Mara Davi, Melissa Errico, and Tony Yazbeck.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas has returned for another limited holiday engagement at Broadway's Marquis Theatre, but this time around, the production too often resembles a coal-filled stocking. It's a show that's no more than pleasant as it passes -- buoyed immeasurably by those great Berlin songs -- but it needs stronger performers than James Clow, Tony Yazbeck, Melissa Errico, and Mara Davi, who are now playing the leading roles, to make it sparkle.

The effect of the topliners' deficiencies is that the feeble humor of the libretto (jimmied by David Ives and Paul Blake from the Norman Panama-Norman Krasna-Melvin Frank script for Paramount's 1954 movie of the same title) is rudely exposed[...]

What are other members saying?

Pale Imitation
Last years production of White Christmas was a terrirfic show. The cast was perfection especially Jeff Denman doing "I Love A Piano". This years show is a very pale imitation of last year. None of the cast izs even 10% as good as last year. They look like a poor bus and truck company that might not even make it for one night stands. It is definitely NOT worth the high ticket price.
