WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Rosie Perez and Joe Pantoliano star in Terrence McNally's Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. Joe Mantello directs this romance about two unlikely lovers searching for hope and connection in a small New York apartment on the eve of something that ought to last.
Student rush tickets are available for $20 on the day of the performance. Tickets are limited to 2 per ID, and students must be 25 years old or younger. Not available for Saturday evenings.
Appropriate for ages 16 and up
Contains adult situations and some nudity

Desperation and depression are two states of mind that don't frequently provoke the tenderness Terrence McNally brings to Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune.
Johnny, played by Stanley Tucci with verve in the revival that Joe Mantello has directed with matching verve, is the desperate one here. A cook at a greasy spoon, he's approaching 50 with little to show for it in the romance department. He thinks, however, that he's found the answer to his middle-age prayers in Frankie, with whom he takes the long night's journey into day during which the bittersweet comedy takes place.
