Short Talks on the Universe is an evening of 7 world premiere plays benefiting Friends in Deed and Bay Street Theatre. Daniel Sullivan directs, with actors including Matthew Broderick, Kevin Kline, Angela Lansbury, Emma Thompson and more. The playwrights and plays are: John Robin Baitz - Show People Lucifer gives a high-powered theater producer his just dessert after dessert at Sardi's. Nora Ephron - I Hate My Purse A woman who hates her purse. Tony Kushner - TBA Steve Martin - 3 AM A sleepless married couple share secrets at 3 AM.
