Two-time Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello stars in the new Broadway musical, Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson. David Armstrong directs. Featuring book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman, the show is set in 1920's Los Angeles and is based on the life of the world's first media superstar evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, a woman whose passion for saving souls equaled her passion for making sensational headlines.

It's easy to worship Carolee Carmello, but the evangelical new musical she stars in won't be moving any bodies, heavenly or otherwise.

must see!
Went to see Scandalous this past Friday with friends and family and had a wonderful time. Carolee Carmello has an astonishingly beautiful voice and we were absolutley captivated by Aimee's story. I will definitely see this show again!
