Riverdance, the internationally-acclaimed celebration of Irish music, song and dance, hits the Broadway stage. This incredible show returns to New York with a production conceived and created especially for the Great White Way. Featured is the entire international company of 80 singers, dancers and musicians, whose performances have touched the hearts of millions around the world. And the voice of acclaimed actor Liam Neeson can be heard reciting excerpts from celebrated Irish writers.

A dance pageant that will likely be this year's guiltiest pleasure, Riverdance on Broadway still manages to shine despite having more flaws than a one-carat diamond.
The original Irish stepdancing show that has spawned a seemingly countless number of imitators, Riverdance succeeds as an entertainment almost despite itself. It has a laughably pretentious narration that is more purple than green, a structure that is as airy as the foam on a pint of Guinness, and choreography (for all its energy and precision) that has less to say than a leprachaun who has lost his pot of gold.
