Vanessa Hudgens-Led Gigi Revival Announces Closing Date

The Lerner and Loewe musical will say au revoir to Broadway.

The Broadway revival of Gigi will end its run on June 21 after 86 performances at the Neil Simon Theatre.

Vanessa Hudgens makes her Broadway debut in the title role opposite Corey Cott (Gaston), Tony winner Victoria Clark (Mamita), Tony nominee Dee Hoty (Aunt Alicia), Tony nominee Howard McGillin (Honoré Lachaille), and Steffanie Leigh (Liane d'Exelmans). Clark received a 2015 Tony Award nomination for her performance and Catherine Zuber won a 2015 Drama Desk Award for her Costume Design.

The company also includes Cameron Adams, Kathryn Boswell, Max Clayton, Madeleine Doherty, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Hannah Florence, Alison Jantzie, Brian Ogilvie, James Patterson, Justin Prescott, Jeffrey C. Sousa, Manny Stark, Tanairi Sade Vazquez, Richard White, Amos Wolff, and Ashley Yeater.

The classic Lerner and Loewe musical, which originally opened on Broadway in 1973, features a brand-new book by Heidi Thomas, choreography by Joshua Bergasse (On the Town), and direction by Eric Schaeffer. Featured on the creative team are Derek McLane (scenic design), Zuber (costume design), Natasha Katz (lighting design), Kai Harada (sound design), David Brian Brown (hair design), James Moore (musical director), August Eriksmoen (orchestrations), Matt Aument (vocal and incidental music arrangement), and Sam Davis (dance music arrangements).
