TLC Celebrates Thanksgiving With Broadway at the White House

American high schoolers spend a day with Kristin Chenoweth, Matthew Morrison, and more Broadway stars in our nation’s capital.

After your feast of turkey and stuffing this Thursday, TLC is offering a treat for Broadway lovers in the mood for some heartwarming holiday spirit. Airing at 8pm ET on Thanksgiving evening, the network will present a one-hour special titled Broadway at the White House. The program follows a group of high school students who were chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend an all-day symposium on careers in theater at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Hosted by Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (On the Twentieth Century) and Tony nominee Matthew Morrison (Finding Neverland), the students learn alongside some of the biggest names on Broadway, with Whoopi Goldberg, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Gloria Estefan, Christian Borle, Cicely Tyson, Stephen Schwartz, and other current Broadway stars participating and performing throughout.
