Fun Home Tony nominee Sydney Lucas will play Mary in Manhattan Concert Productions' upcoming two-night-only concert of Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon's The Secret Garden. The show will take place February 21 and 22, 2016 at David Geffen Hall.

Further casting for the production will be announced. Stafford Arima (Allegiance) will serve as director.

The Secret Garden, which opened at the St. James Theatre in April 1991 and played 709 performances before closing in January 1993, is based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The score is written by Simon, and Norman pens the book. The original Broadway cast featured Mandy Patinkin, Alison Fraser, Rebecca Luker, Robert Westenberg, John Cameron Mitchell, and Daisy Eagan, who won a Tony Award for her performance as Mary Lennox.

In the past, Manhattan Concert Productions has presented concerts of Ragtime, Titanic, and Parade, with professional Broadway casts, full choirs, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
