The Tony Awards Administration Committee met for the final time to determine the eligibility for several productions of the 2015-16 Broadway season. Most notably, the committee ruled that Broadway's Shuffle Along will be eligible in the Best Musical category, not Best Revival of a Musical, as previously speculated.

The full list of regulations are as follows:

Carmen Cusack will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical category for her performance in Bright Star.

Ciarán Hinds and Saoirse Ronan will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actor/Actress in a Featured Role in a Play categories for their respective performances in Arthur Miller's The Crucible.

Frank Langella will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play category for his performance in The Father.

Es Devlin and Finn Ross will be considered jointly eligible in the Best Scenic Design of a Musical category for their work on American Psycho.

Jessie Mueller will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical category for her performance in Waitress.

Fully Committed will be considered eligible in the Best Revival of a Play category.

Sarah Charles Lewis will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical category for her performance in Tuck Everlasting.

Michael Shannon and John Gallagher Jr. will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play category for their respective performances in Long Day’s Journey Into Night.

Brandon Victor Dixon, Joshua Henry, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Billy Porter will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical category for their respective performances in Shuffle Along.

All other decisions were consistent with opening-night billing. If performers are listed above the title, they are automatically considered for leading actor categories unless otherwise petitioned.
