Stars of Hamilton, Wicked, and More Join Broadway Barks in Shubert Alley

The 18th annual Broadway Barks has announced additional celebrity participants for the benefit event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, to be held July 30 in Shubert Alley.

Founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, Broadway Barks features celebrities from the hottest shows currently on Broadway. Hosted by Broadway Barks cofounder Bernadette Peters, with special cohost Gloria Estefan, the event's list of participants now includes James Barbour (The Phantom of the Opera), Richard H. Blake (Jersey Boys), Ava Briglia (Matilda The Musical), Scott J. Campbell (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Fully Committed), Sean Hayes (An Act of God), Jessica Hecht (Fiddler on the Roof), Chilina Kennedy (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Michael Lomenda (Jersey Boys), Rita McKenzie (Ruthless! The Musical), Kim Maresca (Ruthless! The Musical), Samantha Massell (Fiddler on the Roof), Jessie Mueller (Waitress), Michael Mulheren (Bright Star), Tori Murray , Rory O’Malley (Hamilton), Paul Pecorino (Ruthless! The Musical), Mauricio Pérez (Jersey Boys), Ben Rappaport (Fiddler on the Roof), Dominic Scaglione Jr. (Jersey Boys), Amy Spanger (Matilda The Musical), Alexandria Suarez (On Your Feet!), Quinn VanAntwerp (Jersey Boys), and Ana Villafañe (On Your Feet!).

Cuervo (On Your Feet!), Drew Gehling (Waitress), Rick Holmes (Matilda The Musical), Jayne Houdyshell (The Humans), Judy Kaye (Wicked), Beth Malone (Fun Home), Willow McCarthy (Matilda The Musical), Judy McLane (Mamma Mia!), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Shuffle Along), Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago), Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!), Jill Paice (An American in Paris), Gabriella Pizzolo (Fun Home), Emily Skeegs (Fun Home), Peter Scolari (Wicked), Carrie St. Louis (Wicked), Max von Essen (An American in Paris), Aviva Winick (Matilda The Musical), Amra-Faye Wright (Chicago), and Jessica Keenan Wynn (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical).

Beginning at 3pm attendees will have the opportunity to meet all the adoptable dogs and cats. In addition, celebrity presentations of adoptable pets will take place between 5pm-6:30pm, as well as a special signing with cohosts Peters and Estefan at 12pm and the debut of the Broadway Barks bracelet.

This year's Broadway Barks will feature hundreds of adoptable animals from 27 animal rescue groups. The rain or shine event is free and open to the public.
