With performances set to begin November 9, School of Rock is a little less than a month away from making its Broadway debut at the Winter Garden Theatre. But before Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest musical hits the stage, the production is offering a different kind of immersive experience to whet your appetite.

School of Rock, starring Alex Brightman as washed-up rocker-turned schoolteacher Dewey Finn, has released a 360° music video to accompany the single from the new score called "You're in the Band." Shot in a real New York City classroom using a GoPro, the video's technology allows viewers to navigate all angles of the classroom (note from the show: watching on a phone or tablet makes for the best viewing experience).

"It took basically a day to shoot," Lloyd Webber said during a press conference. "I think we did nine individual takes. It's quite interesting because you see it like an old-school photograph. You have to work out all the action. The end of the photo, as it were, is where [the video] meets at the back. It was three of us watching all the time to make sure the action was all there. That's what took the time. It took three days to rehearse it because clearly it had to be completely choreographed."

The single of "You're In the Band" is produced by Webber, along with music producer Rob Cavallo, and is to be released by Warner Bros. Records. Take a look at the 360° music video below.
