Ryan Silverman returns to the Broadway cast of Chicago tonight at the Ambassador Theatre, reprising his performance as razzle-dazzly lawyer Billy Flynn.

Silverman was most recently seen on Broadway as Terry Connor in the revival of Side Show, for which he earned a 2015 Drama Desk Award nomination. His other Broadway credits include Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera and Cry-Baby. He first joined the cast of Chicago in August 2013, performing the role of Billy Flynn through January, 2014.

Featuring classic tunes by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. The current revival, directed by Walter Bobbie, is now in its 19th year on Broadway.

The Broadway cast currently stars Dylis Croman as Roxie Hart (Rumer Willis is scheduled to take over the role beginning September 14), Carly Hughes (through September 4) as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
