Fifth Estate Entertainment announced that the '80s jukebox musical Rock of Ages will launch a 10th anniversary tour with a new production starting in October.

The new production will be directed by Martha Banta and choreographed by Janet Rothermel. Tour cities and casting will be announced later.

Rock of Ages opened at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre on April 7, 2009, and earned five Tony nominations. It was also turned into a film produced by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures in 2012 starring Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Tom Cruise, and more.

Set in 1987 on LA's famous Sunset Strip, a small-town girl and big-city dreamer meet and fall in love to the greatest songs of the 1980s. With book by Chris D'Arienzo, and featuring arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp, the musical features 28 classic rock tunes including "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'," and more.
