Flashback Friday: Lea Salonga Sings Miss Saigon's "I'd Give My Life for You"

We remember Salonga’s take on Kim, as Eva Noblezada makes her Broadway debut in the role.

In 1991, Lea Salonga won the Tony for Best Actress in a Musical for originating the role of Kim in the original Broadway production of Miss Saigon. Last night, when Cameron Mackintosh's revival of the musical opened on Broadway, Kim's torch was passed to Broadway newcomer Eva Noblezada. As we celebrate Noblezada's accomplishment, we're also taking a moment to look back on Salonga's take on one of the show's most heartrending songs, performed in the Manila production of the show in 2000.
