Ever After Director Kathleen Marshall Gets a Sardi's Portrait
Three-time Tony-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall received a Sardi's portrait on Tuesday, June 9.
On hand to fete Marshall was a host of her Broadway colleagues, including Tony winners Kelli O'Hara (who appeared in Marshall's Nice Work If You Can Get It), Joel Grey (who starred in Marshall's revival of Anything Goes), and David Hyde Pierce, among many others.
Marshall received Tony Awards for her choreography in the Broadway revivals of Wonderful Town, Anything Goes, and The Pajama Game, along with an additional six nominations for her work on Nice Work If You Can Get It and Kiss Me, Kate, among many others. She has also directed and choreographed film adaptations of The Music Man and Once Upon a Mattress, as well as the musical sequences for the film My Week With Marilyn. Her latest project is Ever After at Paper Mill Playhouse.
