Flashback Friday: As Jersey Boys Returns, We Remember a Wistful Goodbye to Broadway

“Oh, What a Night” the ”Jersey Boys” family had at the 2016 Gypsy of the Year.

Jersey Boys ended its Broadway run on January 15, after 11 years of bringing the music (and story) of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to fans from across the world. Theatergoers and the Jersey Boys cast alike believed it would be the last time beloved tunes like "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)" would be crooned nightly from the New York stage. But it was announced this week that the show will be returning, opening off-Broadway at New World Stages this fall.

As you get ready to go back to Belleville, New Jersey, with one of music's favorite foursomes, take a look at the whole Jersey Boys family — including a couple Jersey babies — as they celebrated their 11 years at 2016's Gypsy Robe Ceremony.
