Broadway favorite Jason Danieley (The Visit) will return to the long-running musical Chicago on Monday, February 29, at the Ambassador Theatre. Danieley will reassume the role of razzle-dazzle lawyer Billy Flynn following the departure of football star Eddie George on February 28.

Danieley's Broadway credits also include Next to Normal, Curtains, The Full Monty, and Candide.

Featuring classic tunes by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. The current revival, directed by Walter Bobbie, is now in its 19th year on Broadway.

The Broadway cast is currently led by Paige Davis as Roxie Hart and Amra Faye Wright as Velma Kelly. They appear alongside Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
