New to the casting lineup are Jenny Rose Baker (Annie Get Your Gun) as Shprintze, Michael Bernardi (The House Bunny) as Mordcha, and opera singer Jennifer Zetlan as Shaindel, as well as Matt Moisey and Tess Primack.

They join leading players Danny Burstein and Jessica Hecht as Tevye and Golde, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente, Samantha Massell as Hodel, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Jessica Vosk as Fruma Sarah, Melanie Moore as Chava, Adam Dannheisser as Lazar Wolf, Aaron Young as Sasha, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, and Karl Kenzler as the Constable. In the ensemble are Julie Benko, Eric Bourne, Jacob Guzman, Jesse Kovarsky, Reed Luplau, Brandt Martinez, Sarah Parker, Marla Phelan, George Psomas, Silvia Vrskova, and Jonathan Royse Windham. Further casting will be announced.

Produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and Jam Theatricals, Fiddler on the Roof will feature choreography by Hofesh Shechter, based on the original work of Jerome Robbins. Sher directs alongside frequent collaborators Michael Yeargan (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), and Donald Holder (lighting design).

Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes. This Broadway production is the show's sixth since its record-breaking debut in 1964.

Performances will now begin November 20 in advance of a December 20 opening at the Broadway Theatre. Opening night was originally scheduled for December 17.
