Full casting has been announced for Cameron Mackintosh's new Broadway revival of Boublil and Schönberg’s Miss Saigon. The production, which will play at the Broadway Theatre beginning March 1 with an opening on March 23, will be directed by Laurence Connor. The Broadway mounting comes after an acclaimed run at the Prince Edward Theatre in London's West End.

As previously announced, Jon Jon Briones, Eva Noblezada, and Alistair Brammer, who originated the roles of the Engineer, Kim, and Chris in the West End production, will reprise their roles in New York. Rachelle Ann Go and Devin Ilaw will play Gigi and Thuy, respectively. The cast also includes Katie Rosie Clarke as Ellen and Nicholas Christopher as John.

Newly announced cast members include Carol Angeli, Emily Bautista, Mike Baerga, Billy Bustamante, Viveca Chow, Julian DeGuzman, Colby Dezelick, Taurean Everett, Paige Faure, Graham Scott Fleming, Casey Garvin, Nkrumah Gatling, Dan Horn, Ericka Hunter, Adam Kaokept, Lina Lee, Paul HeeSang Miller, Robert Pendilla, Catherine Ricafort, Casey Lee Ross, Jason Sermonia, Julius Sermonia, Antoine L. Smith, Sam Strasfeld, Tiffany Toh, Kimberly-Ann Truong, Kei Tsuruharatani, Christopher Vo, Travis Ward-Osborne, Charlie Williams, Anna-Lee Wright, Warren Yang, and Minami Yusui. In addition, Lianah Sta. Ana will play the role of Kim at certain performances.

Miss Saigon features a book and lyrics by Alain Boublil, book and music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr., and additional lyrics by Michael Mahler. Inspired by Puccini's Madama Butterfly, the musical tells the story of Kim, a young woman who falls for an American GI named Chris, as their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon.

In the vein of Mackintosh's Tony-nominated revival of Les Misérables, this new production of Miss Saigon, is described as grittier and more realistic than the original, featuring new scenic designs and a new song for the character Ellen. Bob Avian provides the musical staging, with Geoffrey Garratt providing additional choreography.

Production design is by Totie Driver and Matt Kinley based on an original concept by Adrian Vaux, costume design is by Andreane Neofitou, lighting design is by Bruno Poet, sound design is by Mick Potter, and orchestrations are by William David Brohn.

The Broadway run will be limited through January 15, 2018, before launching a national tour later that year in Providence, Rhode Island. It will also play engagements in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and more than 50 additional cities.
