Manhattan Theatre Club has extended its production of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love for one week. The drama will now end its run on December 13, after opening October 8 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Tony Award winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur) and stage and screen vet Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane) lead the company of Daniel Aukin's production, which originated at Williamstown Theatre Festival in 2014. The cast also includes Daytime Emmy Award winner Tom Pelphrey (Guiding Light) and Tony Award nominee Gordon Joseph Weiss (Ghetto).

Fool for Love, which premiered off-Broadway in 1983 and is now making its Broadway premiere, follows a pair of former lovers who unpack their relationship in a seedy Mojave Desert motel. The creative team includes Dane Laffrey (scenic design), Anita Yavich (costume design), Justin Townsend (lighting design), Ryan Rumery (sound design), and David S. Leong (movement and fights).
