Fiddler on the Roof has announced changes to its schedule for the week of October 9. Producers have canceled the performance on Tuesday, October 11, the evening of Kol Nidre (the start of Yom Kippur) and have instead added a special performance on Columbus Day, Monday, October 10 at 8pm. There will also be 7:30pm evening shows on both Sunday, October 9 and 16. The production, which began performances at the Broadway Theatre November 20, 2015, will end its run December 31.

Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes. This Broadway production, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (The King and I), is the show's sixth since its record-breaking debut in 1964.

Five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein stars as the iconic patriarch Tevye, opposite Tony nominee Jessica Hecht as Golde, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente, Samantha Massell as Hodel, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Dee Roscioli as Fruma Sarah, Melanie Moore as Chava, Steven Skybell as Lazar Wolf, Aaron Young as Sasha, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, and Karl Kenzler as the Constable.
