Lincoln Center Theater in association with Jujamcyn Theaters has announced an online ticket lottery for the Broadway revival of Falsettos, beginning previews September 29 at the Walter Kerr Theatre in advance of an October 27 opening.

A limited number of tickets priced at $40, including some in the front row of the orchestra section, will be sold each day to the winners of the lottery (one entry per person and two tickets per winner). Entries will be accepted online here beginning today, and will allow entry up to one week before the desired performance. Winners will be chosen at random and will be notified by email and text message by noon ET on the day before the performance.

Falsettos premiered on Broadway in 1992 and won Tony Awards for Best Score for William Finn and Best Book of a Musical for James Lapine and Finn. The show consists of two separate musicals, March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland, the last two in a trilogy of one-act off-Broadway plays, which premiered at Playwrights Horizons, then led by current Lincoln Center Theater artistic director André Bishop. It follows the lives of five people: Marvin, his ex-wife Trina, his psychiatrist Mendel, his son Jason, and his lover Whizzer.

The company is led by Tony nominee Stephanie J. Block (Trina), two-time Tony winner Christian Borle (Marvin), and Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (Whizzer), alongside Anthony Rosenthal (A Christmas Story) as Jason, Tracie Thoms (Rent) as Dr. Charlotte, Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz (An American in Paris) as Mendel, and Betsy Wolfe (Bullets Over Broadway) as Cordelia. James Lapine helms the production, as he did the original.
