The hit Broadway production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will embark on an American tour beginning in October 2016. The tour route, dates, and casting will be announced in the coming months.

Written by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel, and directed by Tony Award-winner Marianne Elliott, the play began preview performances on September 20, 2014, and opened on October 5, 2014, at the Barrymore Theatre. The drama came to Broadway following a sold-out run at London's National Theatre in 2012 and a subsequent West End transfer. The production received seven 2013 Olivier Awards, including Best New Play.

In The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, 15-year-old Christopher has an extraordinary brain; he is exceptionally intelligent but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor's dog, he sets out on a journey to identify the true culprit. The Broadway production is nominated for six Tony Awards including Best Play.

Directed by Marianne Elliott, the production is designed by three-time Olivier Award-winner Bunny Christie, with lighting by Tony Award-winner Paule Constable, video design by Finn Ross, choreography by Scott Graham and Olivier Award-winner Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton, sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph, and hair and wig design by David Brian Brown.

The Broadway company is led by 2015 Tony nominee Alex Sharp (Broadway debut) as Christopher alongside, Ian Barford, Francesca Faridany, Enid Graham, Helen Carey, Jocelyn Bioh, Keren Dukes, Mercedes Herrero, Richard Hollis, Ben Horner, David Manis, Stephanie Roth Haberle, Tom Patrick Stephens), Tim Wright, and Taylor Trensch who plays Christopher at certain performances.
